OPP Name Victim, Confirm Targeted Attack
A death west of Ottawa that initially drew suspicion has now been officially ruled a homicide, with Ontario Provincial Police confirming the victim was deliberately targeted and killed.
The OPP have identified the woman as Geraldine Fulcher, 61, of Calabogie — a small community in the Township of Greater Madawaska, roughly 100 kilometres southwest of Ottawa in the Upper Ottawa Valley. Her body was discovered earlier this month under circumstances police deemed suspicious.
