Ottawa's tech scene has long had a soft spot for aerospace and space innovation, and a new milestone from startup K2 is the kind of story that has local engineers and founders sitting up straight: the company is preparing to launch Gravitas, its first high-powered satellite built specifically for space-based computing.
What Is Gravitas, Exactly?
Gravitas is K2's flagship demonstration mission, designed to prove out the foundational technology needed to build full-scale data centres in orbit.
