OPP Launch Investigation After Injured Person Dies Following Perth Park Incident
Ottawa-area Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a death after a person was found injured at Last Duel Park in Perth, Ontario on Sunday afternoon.
OPP officers responded to the park at approximately 3:15 p.m. on April 12, 2026, after receiving a call about an injured individual at the location. The injured person was located at the park and subsequently transported to a trauma centre for treatment. Tragically, the person later died from their injuries.

Police have confirmed the death is under investigation, though few details have been released publicly at this stage. The OPP has not yet disclosed the identity of the deceased, the nature of the injuries, or whether foul play is suspected.
