Ottawa firefighters were called to the Vanier neighbourhood after a blaze broke out on the balcony of a high-rise residential building.
Fire crews responded to the scene and worked to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to other units in the building. The quick response by Ottawa Fire Services helped limit damage in what could have been a more serious situation in the densely populated residential tower.
