Two Survivors, Two Decades Later
On September 13, 2006, a gunman opened fire at Dawson College in Montreal, killing one student and wounding nineteen others before he was shot by police and took his own life. It remains one of the deadliest school shootings in Canadian history.
Twenty years on, survivors Hayder Kadhim and Meaghan Hennegan are sharing how they've processed that day. Both were shot during the attack and have spent the two decades since grappling with what it means to have survived, and how to build a life around that.
