Ottawa's basketball community is coming together this weekend for a cause that hits close to home for a lot of local families.
Hoop for Healing is back for its second installment, bringing Ottawa influencers, athletes, artists and everyday community members onto the court for a night of basketball in support of CHEO research. The event was announced by local account @shottawa.tv, which has been rallying the city behind the cause.
As the post puts it, some "familiar faces from around the city" will be hitting the court, competing and coming together for something bigger than the game itself.
