Christopher Lucas was found guilty in the January 2021 killings of Christine Crooks, of Toronto, and Juliana Pannunzio, of Windsor. Both young women died after gunfire broke out at the gathering, a case that has drawn attention across Ontario's justice system for the severity of the sentence and the toll it took on two families and communities hundreds of kilometres apart.

What Happened

The shootings took place at a house party in Fort Erie, a small Ontario town on the Niagara River across from Buffalo, New York.
