Signs are up in Ottawa
Ottawa's municipal election campaign just got a lot more visible. Starting Friday, candidates running for council seats across the city are allowed to put up their election signs ahead of the Oct. 26 vote, according to CBC Ottawa.

With just over six weeks left before ballots are cast, the sign rollout is one of the clearest signals yet that the municipal race is entering its home stretch.
Ottawa residents can expect the signage to build steadily between now and election day.
