Quick Response Saves Manotick Home
Ottawa Fire Services stepped in to stop a garage fire in Manotick from spreading and levelling the home beside it, according to a CityNews Ottawa report.
Details on the cause of the fire, the exact address, and whether anyone was injured have not been released. CityNews Ottawa has not published further specifics beyond confirming crews prevented the blaze from destroying the house.
An Ottawa Community on Alert
Manotick, a rural community within the City of Ottawa, relies on the same fire service that covers the urban core. Quick containment like this is a reminder of how fast a garage fire can threaten an entire property if crews don't get there in time.
This is a developing story. Ottown will update this article as more information becomes available.
