CTV Ottawa reports that thousands of people are heading in and out of the city for the Thanksgiving long weekend, which it calls one of the busiest travel times of the year.
That is all the outlet's initial report has made available so far. Fuller details, including any figures, road conditions or delays, have not been independently confirmed yet, and ottown will not guess at them.
Earlier this month
Ottown has already looked at what the long weekend holds for the region, including ottown's earlier report on the forecast, which called for a sunny Saturday and temperatures climbing to 20 on Sunday and 21 on Thanksgiving Monday. Our report on Operation Impact in the Ottawa Valley covers the four-day national traffic safety campaign Upper Ottawa Valley OPP officers are taking part in.
